Andrew Rivas

For nearly thirty years, Andrew has dedicated himself to public service and making a difference in his community. 

Before coming to Vectis DC, Andrew worked for the Catholic Church in various leadership positions for more than 26 years, and was one of the leading lobbyists in our nation’s capital advocating on issues such as healthcare, education, immigration, hunger, and housing. 

Fresh out of law school, Andrew served on staff at the United States Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation. While on staff, he was assigned to the Subcommittee on Consumer Affairs where his responsibilities were oversight of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission.  

Andrew earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from UCLA and his law degree from the Catholic University of America. He and his wife Katie have four children and seven grandchildren – so far.
